At josiah+co. we are passionate about 'building supportive communities for those impacted by pregnancy and infant loss through quality handcrafted products, workshops, and social events.'
Navigating pregnancy and infant loss can be extremely isolating. We want to provide a safe space for you to connect with others who JUST GET IT, who understand the pain and joy associated with life after loss. Our events + workshops are light-hearted in nature. We may drop a few curse words, cry, and then laugh till our bellies hurt.
So if this sounds like your jam, come join us!
Looking for a safe space to practically work through your grief and learn a new skill? These workshops are for beginners looking to learn the basics of crochet and connect with other loss friends. These workshops provide the building blocks to learn how to make your own crochet booties. FYI: We may drop a few curse words, cry, and then laugh till our bellies hurt. You've been forewarned ;)
Throughout the year we host a variety of events that are light-hearted in nature. These events are geared towards those impacted by pregnancy and infant loss, and provide a safe space for you to connect with others who 'just get it'.
Part of Home Hospice Association’s Pre and Perinatal Hospice Program. Our Babies, Our Grief is a free peer-led support group, led by Melissa Sulley of josiah+co. For more info and to register visit the HHA: Our Babies, Our Grief website. Whether you’ve lost your baby through miscarriage, termination, stillbirth or as an infant, this support group welcomes you to come and share your grief journey with other parents. During our 6 weeks together, we will explore grief, learn about healthy grieving practices and provide a caring, open, listening environment for you to share and express your own grief. Most of all, the purpose of our group is to provide a space where you can honour the memory of your child and come together with other grieving parents to find support and know that you are not alone.
